Write a KWL chart on the Chemical Layers of the Earth. K stands for "knew before hand," W stands for "I want to know more about something," and L stands for "what I learned." For each letter you are going to write more than one item, I will let you decide how you want to break it up. You need to have 15 THINGS WRITTEN DOWN. I suggest just making a numbered list (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.) up to 15 and filling in as you go. There will be an example below to help you know what to do. You will obviously need to do some letters more than once, but each letter must be used once and you need to tell me which letter you are using. This will be a text box entry ONLY.
Example
1. K: I knew there was iron in the earth's core.
2. W: I want to know more about how that iron stays a liquid metal under so much power.
3. W: I want to learn more about the oxygen that has been trapped in the center of the Earth.
4. L: I learned that the layers exist because different metals have different densities and basically float on one another.
