meter stick is pivoted at the 50 cm mark but does not balance because of nonuniformities
terial that cause it center of gravity to not be at the geometrical center. when weights of
nug and 200 g are placed at the 10 cm and 75 cm mark, respectively, balance is obtained. if the
weights are interchanged balance may again be obtained by shifting the pivot point to the 43 cm
mark. find the mass of the stick and the location of its center of gravity.
