         Distance traveled by car = 36.11 t

Acceleration of police vehicle = 10.1 km/h/s = 10.1*5/18 = 2.81 m/

Distance traveled by police vehicle in time t =

          Here u = 0, a = 2.81 m/

         So, Distance = 0*t+

Comparing both the distances we have

So after 25.70 seconds police vehicle will catch car.

it takes about 30 days for it to break down

i just did an experiment like this in my science class. also the answer is yes, it will get separated because they are two opposites meaning if they are opposite they can not attract.
