Park North), and is 0.5 miles (0.8 km) wide between Fifth
Avenue and Central Park West.

That's  1.32 x 10⁴ ft long, and  2.64 x 10³ ft wide.

There's the problem !  This question says
264 ft wide, but it's actually 2,640 ft wide ! 

So, using the numbers in this question, the answer
is 83 acres, although Central Park is really 10 times as big.
