Farmer Fielding has 10,000 yd.' of farmland which is suitable for growing vegetables. The government will give him a special grant if he can grow 10 different vegetable crops on his land. They have established rules about his crop. Can you help him to fit the crops onto his land with no wasted space? Regulations. The largest area must be planted with potatoes. Peas and beans are equal and together equal onions. Carrots and com are equal in area and together equal potatoes. 1,250 yd. will be planted with onions. Cabbage, lettuce and tomatoes are each equal to peas. Broccoli covers half the area of corn. You may split squares into smaller, equal parts.​
