First, we need to find out what -3 + 7 is. -3 + 7 = 4. The reason that we got 4 is because we started at -3 and went forward 7 times. When we went forward 7 times, we landed on 4. Next, we need to find out out what -10 - 2 is. -10 - 2 is -12. The reason we got -12 is simple. There is a little method that I like to call keep,change, opposite. First, we keep -10 as is. Next, we switch - to a + sign. Finally, what is the opposite of 2. You guessed it, it's -2. When you put all the pieces together, it is -10 + (-2)= -12. But we are not done yet, four is greater than -12 because -12 is a negative number while 4 is a positive. So, the answer would be "C"
