The economic impact on the invention of the telephone changed many peoples lives. After Alexander Graham invented the telephone, many people realized that they could make more money off of the phones by manufacturing them cheaper and selling them for more money.

Political:

The political impact includes money being borrowed from the government to make the telephone. In 1873, the congress awarded Dr. Loomis $50,000 for developing the method of transmitting and receiving messages using the atmosphere. Considering all the money the government put into the making of the telephone, they were probably the first ones to own a telephone in their home. The telephone didn't sell very well in the beginning because of its flaws of being expensive, heavy, and large. The telephone also helps and doesn't help the protection of the U.S because it promotes crime but at the same time it stops it. The telephone does bring a lot of security  which the government uses highly and it helps them in millions of ways. Some other great things the telephone brings are changed marketing, the way wars are fought, more flexible work arrangements, and an increase of worldwide communication (which can even lead to world peace).

Social Event:

The telephone made an incredible impact on society. The impact could be seen through the quickness of communication, business, easier communication in wars, and some negative effects too. Although the telephone became a necessity of daily life, it was at first neglected by the public.
