How did we justify sending troops to Europe to fight for the freedom of others but violating the rights and liberties of our own citizens? Need help ASAP PLEASE!

This cannot be justified morally in any form or otherwise.

If the rights of citizens are being violated in a country it becomes an eye service when the same government try to fight for the freedom of other nations.

If the country denies the citizens their rights they have no rights fighting for the freedom of others. Doing this would only make them seem like they do not practice what they preach.

Also it would make it seem like they have an ulterior motive in these nations. Maybe they are only trying to establish their own self interests in these areas.
