Why did the republican isolationists refuse to ratify president wilson’s league of nations?

a: they were angry about the president’s decision to take only one republican to the peace conference at versailles.

b: they thought the league favored european colonization that would hamper the united states’ powers.

c: they thought the league tied the united states to europe and their conflicts going against traditional us policies about international affairs.

i believe that the answer to the question provided above is that  establishing smaller ethnic communities within larger communities  gives more chance for people to know each other more but this might lead to the  conflict between groups.
