It is very essential to study the geology of the earth and its formation, its erosion and deposition and also study how the rocks got arranged in there present forms and also essential to understand the basic evolution of the earth as a distinct terrestrial planet. The lower mantle is composed of iron and heavy elements. Below which is the core which has outer and inner components like the nickel. The rock cycle is the cycle that recycles the rocks through the internal structure of the earth to balance the isostatic equilibrium of the landmass on the surface. Like basaltic rock get sedimentary get metamorphosed to form metamorphic rock and further get converted to igneous rocks.
