Pick up a new cotton swab, and run it all over your hands, between your fingers and under your nails. Rub the swab in a zigzag pattern over the second petri dish, and cover it with the lid. Label the petri dish "hand washed." Dispose of the cotton swab. Store these petri dishes at room temperature. Write down your observations at 24 hours and 48 hours.
