How does fareed zakaria’s characterization of the american dream compare with your own?

According to Fareed Zakaria shifting of the global economy and increasing technological advancements are affecting the American dream. In America there is a sense of anxiety, idea of energy and dynamism of the future is not true. However i think that this is not true while technological advancement may be affecting the American dream to some extent it has also made our present a lot easier than it used to be in the past. Beside this the limitation of resources can be another reason that technological advancement is necessary.
