Before developing possible solutions to the issue identified in step 1, brainstorm criteria you will use to determine which action related to your issue will have the most positive impact on your community. Consider what elements your solution must include to be successful. In addition, note how externalities may relate to any possible solution. Finally are there budget concerns? Does your solution require public support and awareness? Use Research Chart 06.02 to document your data, take notes and track your sources of information. You will be asked to submit your criteria and research at a later time and you will discuss your findings with your instructor during your discussion based assessment.
