5. How can creative nonfiction best be described, and what are some types of writing created within the area of creative nonfiction?

The goal to being a creative nonfiction writer is if representing and exploring the “real” by writing in the genre of creative non-fiction. Creative nonfiction merges the boundaries between literary art, fiction, poetry, and research nonfiction. It is writing composed of the real, or of facts, that employs the same literary devices as fiction such as setting, voice or tone, character development. This makes if different or should I say "more creative" than standard nonfiction writing.

Some types of writing created within the area of creative nonfiction:

3.  Events

4. Autobiography

5. Literary Journalism Essay
