"Animal Farm" is an ironic tale written by George Orwell during W.W.II, but it was later published in 1945. The story is an allegorical fable where farm animals acquire human's characteristics and behaviour.  The literary technique used in this novel is allegory. Through this literary technique, the author is representing the Russian Communism between 1917 and 1943 with the animals that organize themselves for rebellion against the farmer. It is also possible to stay that this fable portrays other themes such as: class struggle, power, ignorance, manipulation of ideals, among others.
