Animal Control is suddenly visiting a lot, and I can't really understand why. I admit that my dog has always been a neighborhood menace, but he's never bitten anyone other than me, and he doesn't bark excessively. My neighbors have gotten used to him and they tolerate him (probably because their own dogs are pretty annoying too) so I wouldn't imagine they're suddenly just calling animal control for no reason. I just got new neighbors, so I speculated it was them calling in on us, but they have two dogs that roam just as freely as mine does (sometimes I'll even find one or two of them in my back yard) and I feel it'd be very hypocritical for them to call Animal Control for something their dogs do too, so I doubt it was them. Today my mom got a ticket for my dog running at large when he has been roaming the streets for quite some time. I understand that it's a violation, I just don't understand why she's just now getting tickets when we've had my dog for YEARS. Could someone shine their animal wisdom down upon me?
