A material composed of two or more phases is called composite material, which has different chemical and physical properties (such as materials associated with metal and plastic). Furthermore, they represent a “class of materials composed of a continuous phase (matrix) and a dispersed phase (reinforcement or modifier), continuous or not, whose properties are obtained from the combination of the properties of the individual constituents.

Starting from the example of a composite made up of two different materials, both maintain their properties individually, but, when mixed, present a very different behavior from that presented by both when not mixed. Simple examples of composites are obtained by making combinations between metals, polymers and ceramics (metal + polymer, metal + ceramic and polymer + ceramic).

there are mainly three domains in biological classification namely; archaea, bacteria, and eukarya.

archaea includes all the prokaryotic cells which are characterized by their lipid membranes. they have branched hydrocarbon which is attached to glycerol through an ether linkage.

bacteria includes all the prokaryotic cells, the cell membrane of which are made up of the unbranched fatty acid chain. in addition, they are attached to glycerol through an ester bond.

eukarya includes all the eukaryotic cells, that is, the cells contain a nucleus and other membrane-bound cell organelles.

they can be autotrophic as well as heterotrophic, unicellular as well as multicellular

they include kingdoms like protista, plantae, animalia, fungi et cetera.
