Can someone please help me?? There is an amusement park based on sea life. Its purpose is to get the public interested and caring about conservation of the world’s oceans. Some of the profits from this organization go toward funding ocean research and conservation. In order to get people interested, some of the shows that the park offers include large marine mammals that do tricks. Some of the larger marine animals are housed in pools for viewing instead of being allowed to live in their natural habitat. They also have rare and endangered species on display to help increase awareness of them. They even have a breeding program for the some of the endangered animals.

The animals may rely on humans for care instead of doing it themselves

Think about it, if the animals there don't have all the resources they need in a tank instead of the ocean. So they need the workers there to care for them. This can be bad for the animals because if they can go back to the ocean, they won't be able to get the resources they need by themselves!

Although this park provides help to endangered species and helps to spread awareness, keeping sea creatures in artificial pools unable to live freely is cruel and morally unjust. The park should INSTEAD be a reservation or a wildlife protection and research center. They lure customers in with the animals doing tricks and swear that they're doing good and "spreading awareness." This awareness, however, is at the cost of the well-being of intelligent animals such as whales, dolphins, and seals (most likely, they do the most tricks, think seaworld), who often feel and perceive no less than we do. Like previously stated, a government-funded research and wildlife center with rehabilitation for endangered species would be better for the animals. Parks shouldn't be allowed to house endangered species anyways.
