Explanation:

The mass and volume both can be changed when changing happens in the amount of molasses. But, the density does not change.

This happens because the mass and volume increase at the same rate. Even although there are more molasses (mass) in the glass, the molasses also takes up more space (volume).

Therefore, the spacing between the tiny particles of water that make up the molasses is constant.

In other words, the size or amount of a material/substance does not affect its density.
