Enjoy it, it may suck, but these are the last years of your life before fully going independent. Sit where makes you feel comfortable. Gym class can be fun if you make it!  Making friends is pretty easy just introduce yourself, be yourself, and have fun. School supplies differ from each school, I advise you to go to the office and ask, but typically notebooks for each class, pens/pencils, and folders.
