Risky behaviors refers to activities which are considered potentially dangerous to health, or even life, events such as abuse of substance , heavy  consumption of alcohol , engaging in unprotected sexual intercourse, engaging in reckless driving, or extreme sports.

Counselling can help to curtail the growing number of people engaging in  risky behaviours. Counselling provides a good opportunity for people to talk freely about their lives' challenges and offer solutions to avoid practicing risky behaviours.

Sensitization campaigns can aid education of the masses about risky behaviours, and these campaigns will showcase the realities about risky behaviours while offering solutions or way outs.
