Scholarships are a great way for students to minimize their college costs. What types of scholarships are you planning to apply for? I would apply for Scholarships Based on Personal Attributes as I have many artistic skills and abilities.

One great way to help pay for college expenses is to apply for a scholarship (by winning scholarship money is based on their merit); while another way for obtaining money to pay for college expenses is through a grant.

Some ways I plan to save money while I am in college are the following:  

•          Choose a school that suits my needs but doesn't break the bank,

•          Take advantage of campus housing, transportation, and meal plans,

•          Buy used textbooks or rent them,

•          Maintain only one credit card and use it only in emergencies.

•          Pay for expenses with cash or debit card, and deposit money into a savings account,

•          Take advantage of websites that offer free music, videos, games, freeware, and shareware.

•          Use my student ID to get discounts.
