How to turn a mix number into a fraction

Multiply the whole number by the denominator  then add the numerator but keep  the denominator the same.
ex. 2 1\3   2x3=6    6+1=7          7
                                                  ---
                                                   3

7*7 = 49 2+49=51  so c: 51/7  (btw this is not spanish)

Im awfully sorry but i believe they taught you about mexico and there's a few things i dont know about them, but i could do this question if you provided those details.
