In US the houses sometimes are more expensive but have better quality of life style of living. 
Spain: Houes may be chaeper because location is more land than valleys. Houses may be cheaply made in some parts and other parts may be better or more expensive.
Latin America: Houses are cheaper because the house may need more work. Houses may be cheaper because in Latin America most things are cheap
