What happens on el día de reyes (three king’s day)?

For us Hispanics, We celebrate that day as a other Christmas. We go to church and praise God, Jesus, and/ or Lady of Guadalupe. Lady of Guadalupe would be most praised by us Catholics. The January 6th is when we go to church and in some churches, they give out toys as a repeat of what the three brave bachelors did. The three brave bachelors went out and followed the North star that lead to baby Jesus, as I was taught. Once they found baby Jesus they showered him with gifts. This is why in some Catholic churches we give children gifts, as it is why some English people name it "Late Christmas".
Most English people take their Christmas tree off that day, as a symbol of respect that they had it up until "Late Christmas".

We celebrate in a family and we cut this bread named "la rosca de Reyes" and they hide baby plastic Jesus in the bread and you cut a piece of rosca and if you get a baby you get to make something for ur whole family
