Nicaragua is an amazing country with lots of food, traditions and special events. However, I am assuming you do not know much about it.We're going to begin learning about the basics which include, food, sports, transportation, population and tourist areas.

To begin, Nicargua mostly focuses on corn, beans, plantains, yucca, and peppers. A characteristic Nicaragua meal that you can try all over the country might include a meat like chicken, pork, or fresh seafood from Nicaragua’s expansive coasts, deep-fried plantains, rice, and beans ( gallo pinto ) and a cabbage salad. One important sport is Baseball is the most popular sport in Nicaragua. Although some professional Nicaraguan baseball teams have recently folded, the country still enjoys a strong tradition of American-style baseball. Lastly,  Buses are one of the most popular and forms of transportation in Nicaragua. The country is full of old school busses from the United States that have been purchased and refurbished by entrepreneurial Nicaraguans to provide transportation services to the masses. Truly, for a day or weekend trip, there is no better way of getting around.

America and Nicaragua are extremely similar to each other. We have baseball teams such as the mets from new york and the yankees from new york. We also eat a lot of corn especially on BBQs and we eat a lot of pork as well! Lastly, we also transport around in buses.
