La primera vez que conocí a mi mejor amiga fue en 2007 cuando su familia se mudó a la casa de al lado.  Cuando empezó la escuela, Caitrin y yo teníamos apretones de manos, señales y lenguajes secretos. La hermana mayor de Caitrin, Thalia, también salía con nosotros y con mi hermana Georgia. Thalía era un poco mayor, pero seguía siendo una de nosotras. En verano nos bañábamos en mi piscina y nos bañábamos al sol con toallas en el camino de entrada, en invierno tomábamos chocolate caliente al calor de la leña. Desde entonces hemos sido mejores amigos. Lo pasamos muy bien.
