Tabasco: This city’s climate is generally hot and wet with about 82 inches of rainfall per year. It’s a bit smaller than the state of Vermont. Almost all of its land is flat and low. One crazy fact is that Tabasco has almost ⅓ of all of Mexico’s water resources, probably due to the city bordering the Gulf of Mexico. Tabasco is home to the Parque Museo La Venta, a museum established in 1958. It’s also home to the Yumka, a nature preserve. The community celebrates New year’s day, Constitution Day, Benito Juarez’s birthday, Labor Day, Revolution Day, and of course, Christmas. Part of their culture is home to the Villahermosa’s baseball team. One interesting advice I can give you about Tabasco is that there’s only one international airport!
