You are going to interview three people. Each person must speak another language (besides English) at home, at work, or with his or her friends. At least one of the people you interview should speak Spanish.
In your interview, ask:
Why do you speak this (these) language(s)?
Do other family members speak the language(s)?
Is there another element of the culture(s) in your life, besides the language? (This could include music, food, celebrations, clothing, etc.)
Part 2
Using the information that you obtain from your interviews, write a brief report of at least 250 words. In your report, summarize what you learned. Then, compare your own experience with your interviewees. Tell of other linguistic or cultural influences in your daily life. You can upload your report below.
