You are lucky because spanish is my 1st language and I live in Latin America.

Well ... what I have learned from the Spanish culture is that in Latin America the festivities are used a lot and they like to spend a lot of time with their families, there are also different accents in Spanish, it can be "Español Castellano"  or  "Español Latino", although There are places like Colombia and Venezuela that say they speak: Spanish, but they have different accents, that's one of the things that I like there. In Latin America are 20 countries and I like everyone to have their usual life and different dances. Something that I also like a lot is the music from there, like for example  the anthem of mexico, I think I think it expresses a lot about the country and about what happened in the Mexican Revolution.  And this is something that I have learned from Spanish and the culture of Latin America and the Spanish language.

Learning a second language has many benefits on its own, but becoming a lifelong learner can provide many more benefits for a much longer time. Starting my journey to becoming a lifelong learner has positively affected my ability to be in a routine, my self expression, and my Spanish vocabulary; not to mention, my academic abilities as well. Learning a second language helps a person's memory, personal growth, communication skills, and provides health benefits such as, reducing the chance of getting Alzheimer's. Academically, my choices are very limited without learning a second language; most colleges and universities require students to have previous classes in a foreign language. Professionally, learning Spanish in particular can raise your chances in getting a job, more specifically one in customer service. Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world. If someone knows Spanish, one can communicate efficiently and effectively with another. This can benefit one's life academically, socially, personally, and professionally, because communication is key within each.
