The ecosystem has a natural way of balancing predator-prey relationships. If one organism exceeds the other, the balance of life is tipped. When this happens, possible elimination of other organisms might take effect creating chaos in the cycle of life.

Once the population of a certain environment increases, we have to start considering different environmental factors which can greatly influence the population of a certain area. Predation, for example, becomes less important.
