Jose has a tendency to keep things rather than throwing them out. he just likes to have them around. eventually, the clutter bothers him enough that he does throw out most of it. in all likelihood, jose is among the of those whose hoarding compulsion does not qualify as ocd.

Some people usually prefer to hold on to things instead of throwing them away. The majority of these people eventually throw these things away when it become quite necessary but a small proportion of these people have Obsessive Compulsion Disorder [OCD], this set of people will never throw out any material that they are holding on to no matter how needful it becomes.
