Communication is percent listening and percent talking?

Education is 80% listening and 20% talking.That means, in order to communicate effectively, one needs to spend the minority amount of time speaking and the majority amount of time listening. The key here is to actively listen with both eyes and ears, in other words, you should not only focus on what the person is saying, but also pay attention to his/her body language and facial expressions.
