At some time in Jeff's life, he started brushing his teeth in a very ritualized way. He feels like he must brush each tooth seven times from the left all the way to the right. If he loses track, he must start over from the beginning until he gets it right. Jeff's dentist warned him that he is brushing too much, but Jeff is convinced that if he discontinues the ritual, all of his teeth will fall out. Jeff's condition is known as disorder.
