true or false the feminist perspective on the family views gender roles as problematic for both women and men

This question is much more complex than just binary ‘true’ or ‘false’. Feminist views vary depending on the approach and political beliefs. A great example of those differences is a 2020 historical TV series ‘Mrs. America‘, starring Kate Blanchett. In that film, the main character perceives herself as a feminist in one sense. She’s of a brilliant mind and she fights for equal rights to education for women. She also had ambition to go to politics and mobilised Christian housewives to campaign against woman’s liberation movement, which fought, among other issues, for reproductive rights - access to safe and legal abortion. So we had two groups of women who had opposing views on what’s good for men and woman and the society as a whole.

But if we are to generalise about feminism, I would argue that the aim is to liberate both man and woman from harmful stereotypes, that contribute to inequality and unhealthy human relationships in a society. If forced to ‘true’ or ‘false’ I would say: false.
