José tiene 12 años y vive en una comunidad del Volcán, en donde hay tendencia a desastres naturales como terremotos, erupciones volcánicas, tormentas tropicales, deslizamientos de tierra y sequías. José y sus amigos han recibido capacitaciones sobre primeros auxilios en la escuela de la Cruz Roja Americana y la Cruz Roja Salvadoreña, por ello practican mediante simulacros y hasta apoyan en situaciones de emergencia familiar, además, comprenden que es necesario contar con habilidades de resiliencia para mitigar los riesgos.
