In a country of millions of coffee houses, coffee has become a powerful entity in the U. S. Billions of dollars are spent by Americans yearly on coffee. Coffeehouse lines wrap through the stores and out onto the sidewalks on a regular basis as people flock to get their daily cup of joe. Coffeehouses charge exorbitant rates, and people pay them for both specialty drinks and regular brewed coffee. Why is coffee such a force to be reckoned with?
