They come to you since you have completed your PAS 1000 class where you worked on creating and planning career goals for yourself. They want some information about how you discovered information about your career. Give them four steps that you believe will help them. Specifically, which steps did you choose for them? Explain what each step is and how it will benefit your friends in determining their goals and career.

Four steps I could give them include;

1. Make research about the career of interest and possible heights that can be attained therein.

2. Consult professionals in the field who have more experience.

3. Use the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely) acronym as a guide.

4. Determine if the career goals match my interests.

Explanation:

In creating and planning my career goals, I used the above four steps and my friend can benefit from all the four steps. The steps are;

1. Research: This entails using offline and online resources to obtain a wide range of information about the career of my choice. This helped me to know specific aspects of the career I wish to grow further in.

2. Consultations: I consulted professionals and my teachers in the field to interview them on the best ways to achieve my goals.

3. The SMART acronym: This acronym which is important in projects serves as a guide that will help me remain on track and not deviate from my goals.

4. Consider your Interests: Interests helped me to choose careers and goals that I liked so that I will not regret engaging in them in the future.

If my friend follows these steps, he will be able to create and plan good career goals for himself.
