The Allies (The United States and Great Britain). What caused this shift?
1.Russia thought they had a better chance of winning on the side of the
Allies.
2.The Russian people overthrew the Russian government and changed sides.
3.Germany attacked Russia even though they had signed an agreement
(Non-Aggression Pact) not to.
