Into which genre should a book or film about president kennedy be placed?

We're going to be covering this under non-fiction. Non-fiction covers real world events, which actually happened.

Fiction will focus on imaginary scenarios, people, places, etc. Since President Kennedy was a real person, this will be non-fiction. 

Other more specific possibilities could be a biography or a documentary.
