Attitude directs behaviour and is important concept in psychology. There is no one dominant theory about attitude in psychology but three. The three theories about attitude formation are cognitive dissonance learning and functionalism. There are three component of attitude generally called ABC, A for affective, B for behavioural and C for cognitive.
