Therefore, they would be FOR lower taxes because taxes are an example of the government imposing its power over individuals. They would be FOR few business regulations because they would believe that businesses should be able to run themselves without government intervention. I'm going to assume that by state services they mean things like welfare and food stamps. They definitely would be FOR modest, or lower, state services because they see this as making people dependent on the federal government. Conservative Texans would be very much OPPOSED to aggressive environmental enforcement. Generally, conservatives see environmental issues as less important. Also, they would see environmental restrictions as further power given to the federal government over businesses and individuals.
