Data related to the different groups within a population.

Large scale business activity or production.

To develop lots of large businesses, companies, or factories.

Exiting one’s country with the purpose of living in a different country permanently.

Going into a new country with the purpose of living there permanently.

A country that has achieved industrialization. Industrialized nations have higher average incomes and a higher standard of living.

A nation that has not become industrialized. Developing nations have lower average incomes and a lower standard of living than industrialized nations.

A measurement of quantity per person.

The number of people living in a specific size area, like a square mile.

Factors that either push people to leave the place they live and pull them to a new area.

A person who is forced to leave their country for safety.

An increase in the number of people leave rural areas and move to cities.
