The industrial revolution led to a decrease in the way that Georgia depended on slavery in this time period.

This was the time period that certain areas in the world including the United States shifted to the process of manufacturing.

Georgia was one of the states that had to do away with the slave institution. As a result of this, other slaves that were in most of the dependent areas ran into Georgia.

Explanation:

Georgia was a major producer of agricultural products . Prior to industrial revolution, these agricultural plantations heavily relied on Slave labors in order to maintain their production.

After industrial revolution, mass production using machines started to be adopted into businesses.

The machines were far more efficient than human labors. So, the need for slavery started to be eliminated and shifted  attitudes toward slavery in Georgia.
