Dissimilarities between Municipal Corporation and Municipalities.

The municipal commissioner implements the decisions taken by the council and its standing committees. He is the chief executive authority of the corporation. He is appointed by the state government and is mostly a member of the IAS. Municipalities are established for administration of towns and smaller cities.

A Municipal Corporation is to govern cities with a population of more than 100,000 people. Municipal Councils are for towns between 25,000 and 100,000 in population. Nagar Panchayat are for towns with populations between 11,000 and 25,000 people.

i'm not sure what you are asking, but it also served as a debtors colony, was ran by the trustees for 20 years until becoming a royal colony, and people had restrictions such as no slaves, and only 50 acres of land per person/ hope this !
