Why was there no distinction between religion and politics in Egypt’s Old Kingdom?

Because the Egyptians had developed a theocracy and because religious leaders had the power to make, approve, or enforce laws in this government.

Its my opinion.

chavez's example shows that nonviolent protest can work well. it shows that one nonviolent man can stop a mob, which proves chavez's point and persuades people to protest nonviolently.
