Research is about searching the unknown. God is unknown to some people. A great Catholic. Saint once said, named St. Anselm of Canterbury, "faith seeks understanding". How will you help or convince other people to search for this unknown God?

Most scientific research is dependant on people searching for answers on that which they cannot directly see.

We've had many people, such as Bohr, Rutherford, and Thomson, study the atomic model and various elements of an atom. They actively pursued this new pioneered topic as their topic of research. Why? Well, the mere act of discovering something unknown to many other people appeals to people. Because these people studied something unknown to the human eye, we developed a scientific faith in those findings, that their assumptions were correct, and based an entire scientific field (Quantum Theory) around it. How, then, is searching for God any different? All of that we know in this world which we cannot see is derived from the trust that the people before us were inherently correct. In the same way, believing and researching in Christ through His word is much like studying theoretical science, that we cannot see any of it but know it all to be true based on the evidence we can see.
