I think the Catholics hurt their cause my conducting the Spanish Inquisition, because it was very unexpected. No one wanted to be Christian anymore because the Spanish Inquisition kept making sure, and I’m pretty sure that would’ve been annoying to the point where they would stop practi Christianity and just lie to the Spanish Inquisition
