A true friend is someone who brings out the best in you, who encourages your achievements, who stays with you through your dark times and is never afraid to tell you the truth. In some cases having such a friend can save someone's life by reminding them that they are loved. There's many kinds of friendships like those between relatives, with pets and other people. Each one is special in their own way. Basically, having a true friend in life is something that makes it worth living.

the reason the welfare system causes so much of a burden on its recipients is because the welfare system does not give its recipients any real tools to actually get out of poverty. the welfare system has embedded poverty deeper into society and has made it harder and harder for people to escape poverty.

in other words, it stoped the poor, and now its making it worse.
