Jesus did not perform many miracles between Chapters 10- 16 of Mark because he was preparing for his own death and making or setting an example for his disciples to follow once He's gone.

Instead of miracles, he gave parables and does things to teach people to achieve greater freedom and be prepared for the Kingdom.
